Is FOREX Trading the Greatest Business Opportunity...EVER?

FOREX Trading is the greatest home-based business potential available today, and maybe even in history. Let me show you why.

We just want to be clear about who this article is being written for. Anyone looking to start a home based business, or career, without risking a lot of money, but who is willing to put in the time necessary to achieve his or her goals.

FOREX Trading vs. Real Estate

One of the more popular home based business opportunities is real estate.

Let's take a look at some of the more unappealing parts of the real estate business.

Real Estate:

Amount of Money Needed to Begin:

Regardless of what the infomercials have to say, it costs a great deal of money to get into the real estate business. Even the "No Money Down" systems expose you to an amazing amount of risk.

Whether you put money down or not, you are responsible to pay for the "product" you are purchasing.

If you are unable to find a way to produce revenue from your investment quickly, you will be paying a mortgage payment. It only takes a few months of mortgage payments to turn "No Money Down", to "Some Money Down", to "No Money Left".

Amount of Time Needed to Begin:

Another lie repeated on infomercial after infomercial is that it only takes a few hours a week to begin making money in the real estate business.

We don't want to speak for anyone else, but whom do they think they are kidding. So, let me get this straight...

* looking for a home online * speaking to a realtor * driving around your neighborhood * speaking to a mortgage specialist * and all of the other things you have to do on EACH AND EVERY HOUSE

All of these, combined, will only take me a few hours a week?

We think we are starting to see why such a large majority of home based businesses fail. It's misleading to believe a halfhearted attempt will lead to success.

Amount of Knowledge Needed to Begin:

In order to succeed in the real estate business you have to obtain a wealth of knowledge. How do you fairly value a home? How long will it take to fix, and sell, a home? How much should lumber cost? How long does it take to install a sink?

Those are the simple questions. Zoning laws, contract laws, and tax laws are just some of the more complicated topics that you'll need to understand.

The fact is, we can continue writing about the knowledge you need for days. Obviously, in order for you to succeed in real estate you need a wealth of information.

Amount of People Needed to Begin:

Unless you are completely familiar with all aspects of the real estate business already, you will run into one of a few problems: * The amount of time it would take you to become familiar with all sides of real estate. * The amount of money it would cost you to FAIL at the real estate business. * Most likely, the amount of money it would cost you to build a team of people who are willing to "share" their knowledge with you.

Experts don't come cheap, and without them you are helpless. In our opinion, this is one of the greatest shortcomings of the real estate business.

Your success, ultimately, lies in the hands of others. We can't stress this enough...you financial future is dependant on the performance of a complete stranger.

FOREX Trading;

Amount of Money Needed to Begin:

Nothing. Zero. Zilch. Nada. $0.

If done right, you should not risk any money when learning to trade the FOREX. Again, we guess it's only fair for us to explain. Without getting too technical, we want you to understand one very important point.

Whether you are trading with $1,000,000 or $0, the information and technology available to you is identical. You can acquire the skills and knowledge necessary free.

Not only is this uncommon in relationship to other home based business, it's also unique in relation to other trading markets (There will be an entire article explaining the benefits of the FOREX markets vs. any of the other markets).

Amount of Time Needed to Begin:

Before diving into the answer, specifically, we think it's important that you understand another concept unique to the FOREX. Twenty-four hours a day trading. That's right, FOREX markets are trading 24 hours a day, from Sunday afternoon to Friday afternoon.

How does this help in answering the question at hand, how much time is needed to begin FOREX trading?

As we've mentioned earlier, in order to break into the real estate business requires a major commitment of time. Most of which has to happen between 9 AM and 5 PM. The fact is, you can't speak to a realtor at 3 AM. Everything you do has to be around somebody else's schedule. That means that 40 hours of work could take you 4 weeks.

Those same 40 hours, while learning FOREX Trading, might only take you 2 weeks. All you need is a computer and an internet connection. In addition, since there is substantially less needed to learn in order to succeed at FOREX Trading, 40 hours of work will put you much closer to success then it would in real estate.

Amount of Knowledge Needed to Begin:

As a FOREX trader you only need to acquire the knowledge that will be necessary for you to make money trading.

Why does this matter?

Let me answer this with an example. Why do my plants need water? Actually, we don't know. To be more precise, none of us actually cares. However, we do know that if we don't water them, they die. That fact alone gives me enough reason to water my plants.

This concept holds true in the FOREX markets. With all of the information available worldwide, it's easy to get caught up in the non-important factors. Like, why do my plants need water? However, all you need to know are the exact steps to take in order to succeed. Like, water your plants.

This drastically limits the amount of time you must invest in learning to trade the FOREX.

Amount of People Needed to Begin:

Well, to attempt FOREX trading takes only you. To succeed at FOREX trading takes you and an educator. Combining these two pieces creates one of the simplest puzzles around.

Imagine trying to learn 2 + 2 = 4 without the guidance of a teacher. None of us would ever grasp this simple subject if left alone. In fact, we wouldn't be able to communicate at all without the examples set forth to us by our parents.

Our entire lives are molded by the quality of the education and guidance we are provided. This holds true in FOREX Trading.

With an elite FOREX Trading Course, you are on the path to successful FOREX trading.

Ultimately, YOU determine your success. However, getting the right foundation and ongoing support will put all the odds in your favor.

FOREX as a Home Business

Many people are looking for something legitimate to get into when it comes to starting a home based business. The FOREX market just may be the perfect opportunity when it comes to working at home. FOREX is the process of simutamously buying one currency and selling another.

I'll be the first to say that 99% of home based businesses are scams. After losing nearly $10,000 in work at home opportunities, I was looking for a way to make a decent amount of money though a legitment business. I've heard of FOREX trading before, but wasn't really quite sure just exactly what it was and how it worked.

In January of 2005, I decided to run a search on FOREX in Google and began reading articles and forums on the subject matter. It seemed that FOREX was the perfect home based business to start. I opened a demo account with $500 and started trading. Within my first 25 trades, I won 23 and lost only 2. I thought to myself I was ready to start trading on a real account.

Little did I know that there was a huge difference in trading on a demo account as opposed to trading real money. My entire psychology changed and I could not implement the same trading strategies that were previously winning on a consistent basis. Needless to say I blew out my first live FOREX account of $600. I decided to fund my account again with $400 this time trading under strict guidelines and much more discipline. Over the next month I managed to gain back my initial loss of $600 and gain a small amount of profit.

When starting out in FOREX, you will have the opportunity to choose between many different brokers. My suggestion is to choose a reputable broker that is well known. Most brokers offer a 3 pip spread on all the majors, some will offer a spread as little as 1 or 2 pips.

If you are not familiar with FOREX, another thing you might want to look into is a managed FOREX account. There are many FOREX signals providers that will send you entry and exit points, however only a selected few of them actually work.

It's now been a little more than a year since I started with FOREX as a home based business and I have compiled over $40,000 in profits. Attaining these results did take a lot of work and research on my part. The FOREX market can be extremely volatile. Do take caution and be sure to do your homework before trading with a live account.

FOREX Signals Providers and My Experience

Trading FOREX can be extremely stressful and time consuming. In fact 95% of traders lose money in their first year trading FOREX. Many people feel as though if they are a stock broker, commodities or securities trader, they can come to FOREX and apply the same trading system and profit. This is where these people go wrong. The FOREX market an extremely volatile and unique market that can see huge market moves in a matter of minutes.

With the failure rate so high for first year traders, many have taken to FOREX signal providers. I can be the first to say that a lot of the FOREX signal providers are terrible. However, through my extended research I have come across a few that do work.

When using a FOREX signal provider, they usually send you their trading signal through charting software, e-mail or SMS. I did find it easy to receive the signal; however I was not always able to take the signals due to a day job. This really frustrated me since the service I was using was making money with their signals, however I wasn't always able to act on the signals provided.

The easiest and most effective way around this problem of not having access to a computer all day everyday is finding a service that provides signal updates through a cell phone. Once the signal is received through a cell phone via text message, you can then call the trading desk and execute the trade.

The only downfall with a decent FOREX signals provider is the times that the signals may come in. FOREX signals can come at any hour. If you are sound asleep at 3:00am and a signal comes in, either you wake up and take the signal or miss out on a trade that may or may not have made you money. However, this can work to your benefit from time to time in that missing a trade here and there may better your position taking the signal at a later date.

Lastly, choosing a FOREX broker is important. Many FOREX brokers offer a 3 pip spread on all the majors, some are much higher. You will want to choose a reliable FOREX broker that provides you with the lowest spread. A lot are around 3 pip spreads and very few have 1 to 2 pip spreads, but they do exist.

Which ever FOREX system you decide to go with, be sure to discipline yourself and stick to your plan. One mistake many people make with FOREX signals providers is that they use their service then they cannot bring themselves to take the signals. The key to making money in FOREX is money management and discipline.

Automated Forex Trading Greatly Increases Trade Volumes

Imagine the next time you join a discussion about automated forex trading. When you start sharing the fascinating automated forex trading facts below, your friends will be absolutely amazed.

The concept of automated forex trading is fast catching on. The first market to move to automated trading was exchange-traded futures. Following this, traders working in the Interbank spot FX market too moved on to this system.

The success of the system flows from its ability conduct trade in real time. This is difficult to achieve manually, especially if the trading is to be done in milliseconds. Also, there may be times when a trader may be away from the desk, or a trader who has incurred a series of losses may take time before placing a fresh order. These are dampers that automated foreign trading removes.

Another advantage that automated trading brings in is diversification. It is possible for a trader to trade in different markets, and in different time zones. The trader can also deploy multiple trading models.

The trader can also use the automated model to analyze short-term data, which is not possible otherwise. This gives the trader an advantage over others who are not using the automated trading system. The trader can use this short-term data to analyze how the market will move in the next 15 minutes or half an hour, and accordingly take decisions. Also, high frequency trading allows existing data to be used in different ways in different markets.

The information about automated forex trading presented here will do one of two things: either it will reinforce what you know about automated forex trading or it will teach you something new. Both are good outcomes.

Automated trading also improves liquidity. This is quite apparent from the way the number of trades shot up in futures exchanges following the adoption of automated trading.

However, one area that worries traders is the likely increase in the number of orders once all traders adopt this system. The fear is that there may not be sufficient bandwidth or engine capacity to execute all these orders in real time. Already, some quarters are employing controls to guard against unnecessary order messages.

Risk management is another area that worries forex traders. An automated trading environment's risk management logic requires that before a new position is opened a check be made to ensure that there is no excessive correlation with already opened positions. For this check to be accurate, all systems need to be synchronised. But these are technical issues that the market feels will be resolved as the technology improves.

For the time being automated trading in forex is the buzzword.

Knowing enough about automated forex trading to make solid, informed choices cuts down on the fear factor. If you apply what you've just learned about automated forex trading, you should have nothing to worry about.

Making Money in FOREX

Whether you're a stock broker, mortgage broker or loan officer, FOREX trading is an essential part of one's portfolio. FOREX trading is an extremely lucrative, yet volatile and risky market. The facts state that 95% of FOREX traders lose money in there first year of trading. Why then must FOREX be considered a part of one's portfolio? Simply because trading FOREX has the potential to make anyone who is willing to learn the FOREX market thousands of dollars per month.

It wasn't until recently that average everyday people were able to trade in the FOREX market. Now it's easy to obtain a mini account, fund it with $300 and off you go. However, if trading the FOREX market were this easy, then everybody would become millionaires and this just isn't the case.

FOREX trading requires consistent analysis of the market. There are two ways that FOREX traders assess the market. The first is what is known as fundamentals. Fundamentals rely on news events such as, CPI, retail sales and home sales. FOREX traders will make a projection for upcoming data and place their trade based on their speculations of upcoming news events.

Another type of FOREX trader is what we call a technical trader. FOREX technical traders rely on chats and mathematical formulas to place their traders. The idea is that history repeats itself. Based on historical patterns FOREX traders can use this data to predict price movement in the future.

There is no proven method to trading. Some people claim to have found the Holy Grail to FOREX trading. However, through my experience it's best to develop your own method of trading. Decide the best time to trade, develop good money management, and set goals. A lot of experienced FOREX traders trade the London and New York overlap between the hours of 9:30 am GMT and 2:00pm GMT. The reason for this being is that during this time the market moves a lot and becomes extremely volatile. Many FOREX traders are extremely good when it comes to managing their money.

The key to success in FOREX trading is to block out your emotions and anxiety. A true FOREX trader will discipline themselves to stick to their trading style regardless of what happens in the markets. Many people feel as though just after a few short months of trading successfully in a demo account they are ready for the real thing. Take your time and really learn how the FOREX market works.

My FOREX Trading Strategy

I ventured into the FOREX market a little more than 1 year ago. I have tried and tested many different types of trading techniques and styles. Most were failures and some were successful. From my experience, traders making money in FOREX will not reveal their trading system, simply because somebody has to lose money in order for you to make money.

Currently I have two strategies working for me. I started with a demo account a little more than one year ago and used the obvious techniques such as technical analysis and fundamentals. Technical analysis seemed to be the easiest method for an inexperienced trader since it only required looking at charts as opposed to watching the news. I used indicators such as MACD, Fibonacci, and RSI to help assess the market and make a prediction on price movement. Needless to say I was successful in my demo account, however when I went live, fear set in and I could not trade using the same techniques I had developed over 4 months of trading with a demo account.

The stress was too much and like a lot of people, I started looking for a FOREX signals provider to minimize the time spent and stress. After some due diligence on quite a few FOREX signals providers, I did find a reliable FOREX charting software package that provided excellent signals. To my surprise, the signals worked. The only difficult part was to discipline myself to take each signal whether I agreed with it or not. After all, the company I chose had a winning track record for 3 consecutive years.

Now that I had a positive flow of income from a FOREX signals provider, I decided to open a second account using my own trading system. This is where I discovered what I feel is a full proof system when it comes to making a fast 30 to 50 pips in FOREX.

Trading now for a little more than 1 year, I noticed that the market moved on speculation. Speculation based on fear and news events, such as the CPI and retail sales. I noticed that between the times of 4:30 am eastern and 8:30 am there was a lot of critical news in majors such as the Euro and the British Pound. The market would move at the exact moment these major news events were released. If a news event was due out at 4:30 am on the British Pound, more than likely the market spiked at that exact moment 30 to sometimes 50 pips up or down. What I started to do was trade on these news events. I would wait until that exact moment the news was due out and execute a trade when the market moved more than 7 pips from its current price 15 seconds before the news is released. A stop-loss should be set at 10 pips above or below the current price.

The trick to this method is executing the trade at the right time and discipline yourself to keep your stop-loss very tight, setting it to no more than 10 pips after you got into the trade. The reason being, this works all of the time, but if you click too soon or too late you could fail to predict the direction of the market. However, when you are right, your winning trades will outweigh your losing traders significantly since you are looking to make a gain of 30-50 pips and if you a wrong a loss of only 10 pips. I have used this method for 5 months and it works.

Forex Brokers are Valuable Advisors

You should be able to find several indispensable facts about forex broker in the following paragraphs. If there's at least one fact you didn't know before, imagine the difference it might make.

A forex broker is one who assists individuals, traders and firms to trade in the forex market. The assistance can be in the form of providing market information or in conducting the actual trade. In either case, the broker charges a fee according to the services rendered.

The brokers advise clients on forex trading strategies. They also provide real time quotes, and news feeds to forex traders. There are some brokers that provide advice on the basis of their experience, and understanding of the market. There are others who use modern software tools to chart market movements, and arrive at entry and exit points.

The arrival of the Internet and the automation of the forex market have led to the emergence of several brokerage firms. These brokers can provide individuals access to the market, something which was not possible in the past. At that time only banks and large financial institutions were allowed to trade in forex.

See how much you can learn about forex broker when you take a little time to read a well-researched article? Don't miss out on the rest of this great information.

However, this has also led to a mushrooming of foreign exchange brokers, making it difficult for beginners, and even experienced traders, to locate competent brokers. Referrals and recommendations are therefore very valuable in this market. It is always advisable to decide your broker on the basis of a recommendation made by your friend or colleague.

However, it may not always be possible to do so. In that case, it is important to investigate the background of the broker. This can be done by finding out the number of trades being conducted by the broker, and the number of clients the broker services. Another important parameter is the broker's experience. The best brokers are those who have learnt trading the hard way over a number of years. They can feel the market pulse, and provide the right guidance.

The individual must also look at the number of services that a broker provides. This include opening of mini accounts, providing market intelligence, market analysis, news feeds and real time quotes.

Now you can understand why there's a growing interest in forex broker. When people start looking for more information about forex broker, you'll be in a position to meet their needs.

The most important forex markets are London, New York and Tokyo, and the most traded currencies are the US Dollar, European Euro, Japanese Yen, Swiss Franc and British Pound. These currencies are traded in pairs. For instance, the pair EUR/USD for a purchaser indicates that the trader is buying the Eurocurrency and selling the U.S. Dollar because the trader anticipates that the Euros are likely to gain in value as compared to US dollars.

The trader may end up making a profit if the Euro escalates against the dollar or the trader may loose if the Euro falls. This is where the skill of the trader lies, to anticipate how a market is likely to move. The trader does not have sufficient time to make these decisions because the market is working in real time conditions. Even the smallest of delay can reduce profit margins or increase losses. The Secret Formula To Picking A Million Dollar Forex Trading Strategies

All successful traders have forex trading strategies that they follow to make profitable trades. These forex trading strategies are generally based on a strategy that allows them to find good trades. And the strategy is based on some form of market analysis. Successful traders need some way to interpret and even predict the movements of the market.

There are two basic approaches to analysing market movements, in both equity markets and the forex market. These are technical analysis and fundamental analysis. However, technical analysis is much more likely to be used by traders. Still, it's good to have an understanding of both types of analysis, so that you can decide which type would work best for your forex trading strategies.

In fundamental analysis, you are basically valuing either a business, for equity markets, or a country, for forex. If you think it's hard enough to value one company, you should try valuing a whole country. It can be quite difficult to do, but there are indicators that can be studied to give insight into how the country works. A few indicators you might want to study are: Non farm payrolls, Purchasing Managers Index, also known as PMI, Consumer Price Index, also known as CPI, Retail Sales, and Durable Goods.

Most traders in the forex market only use fundamental analysis to predict long term trends. However, some traders do forex trading strategies that trade short term on the reactions to different news releases. There are also quite a variety of meetings where you can get quotes and commentary that can affect markets just as much as any news release or indicator report. These meetings are often discussing interest rates, inflation, and other issues that have the ability to affect currency values.

Even changes in how things are worded in statements addressing these types of issues, such as the Federal Reserve chairman's comments on interest rates, can cause volatility in the market. Two important meetings that you should watch for are the Federal Open Market Committee and the Humphrey Hawkins Hearings.

Just by reading the reports and examining the commentary, forex trading strategies in fundamental analyst can get a better understanding of most long term market trends. Keeping up on these developments will also allow short term traders to profit from extraordinary happenings. If you do decide to follow forex trading strategies in fundamental analyst, you want to keep an economic calendar handy at all times so you know when these reports are released. Your broker may also be able to provide you with real time access to this kind of information.

Just like their counterparts in the equity markets, technical analysts in the forex market analyze price trends. The only real difference between technical analysis in forex and technical analysis in equities is the time frame. forex markets are open 24 hours a day.

Because of this, some forms of technical analysis that factor in time have to be modified so that they can work in the 24 hour forex market. Some of the most common forms of technical analysis used in forex are: Elliott Waves, Fibonacci studies, Parabolic SAR, and Pivot points.

Many forex trading strategies in technical analysts combine technical indicators to make more accurate predictions. The most common tendency is to combine Fibonacci studies with Elliott Waves. Others prefer to create entire trading systems in an effort to repeatedly locate similar buying and selling conditions.

Whichever form of forex trading strategies in any kind of analysis you choose, it's best to make sure you learn as much as possible about it and your market. Then you will be able to use you knowledge to create a trading system that will suit your needs, and help you to become a profitable trader in the forex market.

How To Find A Forex Broker That Won`t Rob You Blind

It`s not always easy to know what to look for in a forex broker, especially in any market, much less a market as complex as currency. But, if you want to trade in the market you need a good firm to work with. While it might be tempting to simply ask the brokers what they can do for you, you can`t always depend on them to give you a straight answer. So instead, I`ve put together a few things to consider when choosing your forex broker. You will want a forex broker that has low spreads. The spread, which is calculated in pips, is the difference between the price at which a currency can be bought and the price at which it can be sold at any specific point in time. Since forex brokers don`t charge a commission, this difference is how they make money. Low spreads will save you money.

Along with this, you should be looking for a forex broker attached to a reputable institution. Unlike equity brokers, they are usually attached to large banks or lending institutions. The firm should also be registered with the Futures Commission Merchant (FCM) as well as regulated by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).

Once you`ve narrowed your choices down to brokers that won`t cost you too much, and that are reputable, consider the trading tools that they are offering you. Forex brokers have many different trading platforms for their clients, just like brokers in other markets. These often show real time charts, technical analysis tools, real time news and data, and may even offer support for the various trading systems.

Before you commit to any one company, request free trials of their tools. Brokers generally provide technical as well as fundamental commentaries, economic calendars, and other research to help you make good trades. Shop around until you find a forex broker who will give you everything that you need to succeed.

The next item that you will need to evaluate carefully is the number of leverage options your potential partner has. Leverage is a necessity in forex trading because the price deviations in the currencies are set at fractions of a cent. Leverage is expressed as a ratio between the total capital that is available to be traded and your actual capital. For example, when you have a ratio of 100:1, your forex broker will lend you $100 for every $1 of actual capital you have. Many brokerage firms will offer you as much as 250:1. If you have low levels of capital you will need a brokerage with high levels of leverage to make reasonable profits.

If capital is not a problem, any forex broker that has a wide variety of leverage options would be a good choice for you. A variety of options will let you vary the amount of risk you choose to take. For example, less leverage (and therefore less risk) may be preferable if you are dealing with highly volatile (exotic) currency pairs.

Along with different levels of leverage, look for brokers that offer different types of accounts. Many brokers will offer you two or more types. The smallest account is known as a mini account and it requires you to trade with a minimum of around $300. The mini account also generally offers a high amount of leverage.

The standard account allows you to trade at a variety of different leverages, but it requires minimum initial capital of $2,000. And finally, there are premium accounts, which often require significant amounts of capital. They also generally have different levels of leverage available to the traders who use them, and often offer additional tools and services. You will need to make sure that the partner you choose has the right leverage, tools, and services for the amount of capital that you are able to work with.

A brokerage firm that meets all of these needs should be a good forex broker for you, but you still need to be certain that they are honest. Dishonest brokers can be prone to prematurely buying or selling near preset points (commonly referred to as sniping and hunting) or may indulge in other habits that will cost you money.

Obviously, no brokerage firm admits to doing things like these, but there are ways to know if they have. The best ways to find out more about your potential forex broker is to talk to fellow traders. There is no list or organization that reports dishonest activity, but a visit to online discussion forums, or a simple conversation will often reveal who is an honest forex broker.

You should also watch to see if a brokerage firm has strict margin rules. Since you are trading with borrowed money, your forex broker has a say in how much risk you are able to take. You agree to this when you sign a margin agreement for your account. This means your firm can buy or sell at his discretion, to cover the brokerage firm's interests, which could have repercussions for you.

Say you have a margin account, and your position takes a headlong nosedive before it begins to rebound to all time highs. Even if you have enough cash to cover it, some brokers will liquidate your position on a margin call at that low point. This action on their part can cost you dearly. You can only find out whether the firm is prone to this kind of activity by talking to other traders. Being informed on all aspects of a forex broker before you make the decision to trade with them will allow you to start trading the forex market with confidence.

Unbreakable Forex Trading Rules Guaranteed To Increase Profits

There are a few important forex trading rules in trading that should never be broken. If you apply these rules consistently, and with discipline, you will become a profitable trader. Many traders have learned a diplomatic code of conduct that have been learned the hard way by many traders, through trial and error, and by making the inevitable mistakes that everyone makes when they start a trading business. I've gone over a couple of these codes of conduct in this article. Learn from them now, so you won't have to relearn them later.

As a trader one of the first forex trading rules is this, you need to know what you are trying to achieve. Without specific forex trading rules in place like goals and objectives, it's difficult to succeed at any enterprise. It amazes me how often we can hit our targets, meet our objectives, and reach our goals, when we've taken the time to write down what we want to achieve.

One of the second forex trading rules is that you need to have measurable, achievable goals. In trading, the primary objective is obviously to make money, but it is important to have other objectives that are not strictly cash related. Remember, reward and risk go hand in hand when you are trading. You can't achieve high returns without planning and bracing for high risks.

Your objectives and goals have to fit you if they are going to work, but they should also have the following characteristics to be useful. First, your forex trading rules need to be measurable. If you can't measure your results against your goals, how will you ever know if you've achieved them? Secondly your forex trading rules need to be realistic and achievable. Make sure they are worth the time and effort you are going to put into them. Lastly, these should be positive goals. It's easier to be successful when you are trying to do something, rather than to not do it.

If you know what you are trying to gain in your trading, and when you are trying to achieve it, the whole of your efforts will be focused on meeting your objectives. It focuses your attention on the things you really want to achieve with the time and resources that you have available. Having goals will also give you a way to effectively measure the success and progress of your trading strategy. It's pretty clear why traders who have well defined objectives are more successful than those that do not.

Once you have set measurable, achievable goals in your forex trading rules, you need a way to meet them. Successful traders that have good forex trading rules in place do this by being consistent and disciplined in their approach to trading. How do they make their approach consistent? By developing and following a carefully planned trading system. This is a system tailored to their trading style, as their goals are tailored to their preferences. Once you have your system in place, you need to follow it. The system will tell you when to enter a trade, where to set your stops, and when to exit. A good trader follows their system and does what it tells them to.

One of the third set of skills you need in your forex trading rules is that you need to be confident in your system, to have access to the right kind of technology and information, and to have the discipline to stick to your plan. Without a plan you will be trading on impulse, guided by emotions. There is no more reliable way to loose trades than by trading that way.

With a trading system you are prepared for every situation you may face in your trading. This ensures you'll be consistent in your trading no matter what happens. To make sure you cover everything, your system should have:

1. You guidelines for entering, adding to, and getting out of your positions.

2. You need guidelines that have an action plan in case your trading computer, internet connection, broker, power, telephone etc. break down, or fails to be of any real use.

3. You need a code of conduct that will tell you what you will do if you are unable to trade.

4. You need a standard procedure that will tell you what you will do if you lose a certain percentage of your account

5. You need formalities that will tell you what you will do if all the markets are closed and you can't get out of your current positions.

Unless you have answers for all these scenarios that you need in your forex trading rules, you stand a good chance of loosing money. With the answers, and discipline you'll be able to tell if you trading system needs to be tweaked, or if it's just the markets. You will be well on your way to becoming a successful trader.

Spot forex Trading: Little Known Wealth Building Secret Of The Rich and Famous

If you search on the internet you'll find millions of investment programs such as real estate, stock trading, bond trading, mutual funds, CDs, auction programs and various internet programs.

I have not done many internet income opportunities or programs or affiliate programs because I had been lucky to discover a very easy way to make money through spot forex trading, (Foreign currency trading) safely on the internet.

Perhaps you know about only stock trading or bond trading which are common, but not spot forex trading.

Spot forex trading is the most profitable and attractive internet income opportunity because you can do it from home or office and from any country in the world.

In spot forex trading, you don't need to do any marketing or selling or internet promotion to succeed.

In spot forex trading, you don't need to spend thousands of dollars to do any internet promotion.

In spot forex trading, you don't need any stocks or warehousing.

In spot forex trading , all that you've to do is open an account with one of the brokers with as little as $300 or $2000. (http://www.maychic.com/maysearch)

Then follow simple instructions to buy and sell the currencies.

When the price of the currency is low, you buy.

In a few seconds or minutes, the price will go up, and you sell it and make a profit.

By so doing , in a day, you can easily make $500-$1000 by just buying, selling and trading these foreign currencies for about 3 or 4 hrs!

And get this:

You don't even have to be stuck sitting behind your computer buying and selling these foreign currencies.

You can enter all your buy trades and specify the sell prices you desire and then log off.

Whenever the values of these foreign currencies rise and your selling prices reach, the currencies will be automatically sold for you and you make money!

You can do spot forex trading and at the same time keep your day job, because in spot forex trading, there is no work to do.

In the future when you have made hundreds of thousands of dollars, you may then quit your job and just keep doing currency spot forex trading forever and go on permanent vacation!

To understand the beauty of forex trading Picture this:

In the morning, you get up from sleep at 6 am.

You go to your bathroom and have your shower.

At 7am, you hurry and eat your breakfast.

At 7.20 am, you login into your spot forex trading account on the internet and spend 10 minutes to buy about 3 or 4 different currencies, [for example British Pound, Euro, CHF (Swiss Currency) and Yen (Japanese currency).]

You can specify the price at which you wish to sell each currency.

Then you can log off.

By 9 am, you're at work in your office or business place.

You do your job as usual and by 5 pm, you're finished and heading home.

When you get back home around 6.30 pm, you login into your spot forex trading account to see how much money you've made.

Holy Molly, there in your account it says you have made $750!

"Is this for real?", you wonder...

Yes, it is. (Your eyes are not deceiving you...)

$750 in a day for just clicking your mouse twice and doing no work?

(Whereas at your job, you work 8 hrs, but make only probably $150..)

This is how easy it is to make money from spot forex trading. (http://www.maychic.com/maysearch)

But before you use real money to open a live spot forex trading account, you have to open a free trial (demo) forex trading account and practice first, to understand how it works and to acquire the right skills.

This free demo (trial) spot forex trading account (forex simulation trading) will help you to reduce a lot of risks that can lead to loss.

In spot forex trading, you can choose how much money to invest, how much money to make and when to make it.

You can make money daily, 365 days all year from spot forex trading.

Your computer can be transformed into an "ATM" machine that cranks out cash for you daily (without large investment or hassles) from spot forex trading.

In spot forex trading, you can choose what type of risk you can manage, when to invest and when not to invest.

In spot forex trading, you're the boss. You may do as you please.

When spot forex trading is compared to other investment programs such as stock trading, bond trading, mutual funds, real estate and regular business, it is evident that spot forex trading is the fastest and greatest way to make money in the world.

Spot forex trading is a 2.5 trillion dollars daily business and it is larger than all the stock trading in the world combined.

These are some of the reasons why I believe that forex trading is the fastest and best way to create fantastic wealth.

Perhaps from reading this article you'll now come to know why spot forex trading is the secret behind the greatest wealth on earth and why it has been kept hidden from the average people of the world and therefore little known to the masses.

A Couple Points You Should Know About Forex Trading

Forex trading is hugely profitable, but it is not without its' pitfalls. If you're interested in a forex trading career, you will need to employ winning strategies that both ensure capital preservation as well as maximize returns. A Forex trader needs to be organized and needs the requisite tools in his toolset to be successful. Among these tools are:

1) A reliable internet connection - you do not want to be locked out during a crucial trade due to a faulty internet connection 2) A reliable computer - the machine needs to perform and not "freeze up". You need adequate hardware to run any Forex charting or signal software you may way to run. 3) A Dealing Station - this software serves as an interface between you and your broker and allows you to make trades with a few clicks of your mouse. 4) Real-Time Exchange Rates - rates update thousands of times daily, you must have up to the minute quotes 5) Executable Quotations - quotes you can click on and then instantly execute your trade

These basic tools are required, but are no guarantee of success. You will also need to develop a number of personal characteristics in order to succeed. Chief among these is the development of self-discipline. You will need to stick very carefully to a trading plan in order to forge a successful Forex trading strategy. You need to have the discipline to stick with your plan and execute it faithfully. You will need conviction in your beliefs, which will require you constantly seeking more information to augment your intuition. Forex markets move fast, and the best method for fast action on your part is having a plan of action planned, and then seeing it through to the end.

When you begin trading Foreign exchange currencies, you must always limit your downside. Get in the habit of trading only with money you can honestly afford to lose. This way, if you suffer losses, although they may be painful, they will not be completely devastating. Being able to handle your losses in way that doesn't destroy you mentally, emotionally, or financially, is a sure sign of long-term success. All traders experience losses, but great Forex traders keep their impact to a minimum because of careful tactics.

Forex is considered to be one of the most consistent trending markets in the world. Following trends closely can be your best ally in your quest for profits. To against the trend is to invite sudden and total disaster. There are a great number of indicators you will need to follow, although this treatise is too short to cover them. But once you know your indicators inside and out, once your intuition is aligned with the help of technical tools, and above all else, once you have defined and followed your perfect Forex trading strategy, you will know the joys of hugely profitable Forex trading. Good luck in your efforts.

Getting Started into Forex Trading

Forex, also known simply as the "FX," is the commonly accepted abbreviation for the over-the-counter foreign exchange market. The forex market is the largest financial market on earth. Forex exists on a 24-hour-a-day global network that spans corporate, banking, and individual interests. There is no central trading floor. Currency is traded around the world and around the clock, with fluctuations responding to speculation on the latest news as it happens. The currency volume on forex is huge, with a daily turnover of in excess of $200 trillion. Most of the world's forex trading is done via the internet

The forex was traditionally a playground for the monolithic international banks and substantial corporations. Times have changed, however, and it's now possible for the small investor to enter the speculative waters of currency trading. Forex trading has become a bit of a craze of late, especially since it is something available to anyone who owns a computer. And anyone who is willing to put in some training time can profit from forex trading. The forex market finds traders from all around the globe monitoring currency fluctuations, not unlike the way a day trader may monitor a stock's fluctuation on the Dow Jones.

The lion's share of forex trades involve the major currencies: the Australian Dollar, British Pound, Canadian Dollar, Euro, Japanese Yen, Swiss Franc, and US Dollar. In forex trading, a trader will pair two types of currency. Currencies are bought and sold simultaneously, for example the US Dollar and the British Pound. As it requires more of one currency to purchase another, that currency loses value. Not unlike stock trading, forex traders try to accumulate currency when it weakens in hopes of selling it when it goes up in value. Forex trading is not unlike the buy low, sell high approach found in stock trading.

The way a trader on the forex market exchange goes about acquiring currency is by giving a bid/ask quote, saying he is willing to buy, for example 1.6 marks per dollar and sell them at 1.625 per dollar. One must be a market trader to have access to this process. So most people who are forex trading on line buy the currency through a bank, where they'll pay a commission, then have to figure the commission paid to the bank into the calculation of their spread, or profit margin, when they sell it.

Forex trading is not an easy path to riches. And some people have lost considerable money in miscalculating the market. With its increased popularity, on some days the forex market exchange can see more than one trillion dollars exchanged. Packages for teaching a new forex trader how to invest in the market can range in price.

Last but not least, trading successfully is no easy task. It is a process and could take years to achieve the desired results. There are a few things though every trader should take in consideration that could accelerate the process: having a trading system, using money management, education, being aware of psychological issues, discipline to follow your trading system and your trading plan, and others.

Anybody interested in some more information about forex trading should check out high-quality course like Peter Bain at Forex Mentor. His course provide clear guidelines about when to enter a trade, what to expect in terms of market movement, when to exit a trade, how much loss can be accepted in case the deal moves against the trader, and some secret techniques that can be easily implemented. Following his simple guidelines can help you become a successful forex trader. Learn to make daily profits in the forex market. You would not believe how straightforward and helpful it is to a Forex beginner. For more information, please take a look at http://nofieiman.com/go/peter-bain/

DayTrading And Forex Today

Online trading is great way for serious investors to make money, but inexperienced traders often wind up with big losses. A good set of instructions can minimize the risks and save months of expensive trial-and-error learning.

Day Trading

Day Trading had its heyday during the bull market of the 1990's. All the amateurs have since dropped out, but day trading is still being practiced by professionals. There are fewer opportunities in the current market, but skilled investors can still find them if they know what to look for.

FOREX Trading

The Foreign Exchange Market (FOREX), the world's largest financial exchange market, originated in 1973. It has a daily turnover of currency worth more than $1.2 trillion dollars.

Unlike many other securities, FOREX does not trade on a fixed exchange rate; instead, currencies are traded primarily between central banks, commercial banks, various non-banking international corporations, hedge funds, personal investors and not to forget, speculators. Previously, smaller investors were excluded from FOREX due to the huge amount of deposit involved. This was changed in 1995, and now smaller investors can trade alongside the multi-nationals. As a result, the number of traders within the FOREX market has grown rapidly, and many FOREX courses are appearing to help individual traders increase their skills.

As a matter of fact, it's advisable to take FOREX training even before opening a trading account. It is vital to know the market mechanics of FOREX, leveraging in FOREX, rollovers and the analysis of the FOREX market. Due to this fact, potential FOREX traders would do well to either enroll in a FOREX training courses or even purchase some books regarding FOREX trading.

There are pros and cons to enrolling into a FOREX course. For beginners a FOREX course is a rapid method of learning the basics of FOREX trading. Not much time is spent on history of the market or arcane economic theories. Often, on-line or phone support from a skilled FOREX trader is available to answer any questions. Also, the information is condensed and practical, often with graphs and charts.

The disadvantage is the price, as courses are more expensive than a paperback from the bookstore. Also, the course may just teach the approach of the trader who wrote it, and individuals have different trading strategies. The student may grow accustomed to the logic and focus of the teacher without coming to realise that nothing is predictable in the FOREX market, and many different strategies will bring profits in varying market circumstances. Also, knowledge of practical applications may not be enough, as the FOREX is highly unpredictable and there are many external factors, such as political issues, affecting the flow of finances in the market.

The best advice would be to do some background research on the FOREX market first, and then enroll in a course.

"How To" Start Trading The Forex Market? (Part 6)

HOW TO READ FOREX PRICE CHARTS?

Forex Price Charts, what DO they mean and HOW to use them?

Important numerous facts as discipline, trading rules, not being greedy etc., but one of the most important things is:

LEARN to read the charts as Charts represent the lifeblood of the market.

I admit that reading charts, and interpreting patterns, are more an art than a skill. Base and apply your entry and exit decisions on YOUR OWN combined methods of technical and fundamental analysis.

FOREX charts, are easier to interpret and to use. They reflect a slower moving, stable economy of a country, compared to the stock market, with its daily drama of company reports, Wall Street Analysts and shareholder demands.

Unlike stocks, currency charts do not spend much time in trading ranges and have the tendency to develop strong trends. Furthermore, Forex with its 4 Mayor currencies is easier to analyze than tens of thousands of stocks.

(Mayor currencies are: USD/JPY, EUR/USD, GBP/USD and USD/CHF)

The complimentary FREE live charting software, with the ultimate cutting edge technology provided by http://www.fenixcapitalmanagement.com/will be absolutely sufficient for you to analyze and watch any one currency pair. Understanding just a few basic points about the technical analysis of currency chart can lead to increased profit potential.

Pricing - Price reflects the perceptions and action taken by the market participants. It is the dealing between buyers and sellers in the Over-The-Counter (OTC) or "interbank" market that creates price movement. Therefore, all fundamental factors are quickly discounted in price. By studying the price charts, you are indirectly seeing the fundamental and market psychology all at once , after all the market is fed by two emotions - Greed and Fear - and once you understand that, then you begin to understand the psychology of the market and how it relates to the chart patterns.

Data Window Chart - FCM and most online charting stations, when you click on a price bar or candlestick, it will display a small box of data usually called a display window which will contain the following items:

H = Highest Price L = Lowest Price O = Opening Price C = Close Price (or Last Price)

The most common types of price bars, used in FOREX trading, are the Bar Chart and the Candlestick chart:

Bars Charts -

Price bars are a linear representation (a line) of a period of time. This enables the viewer to see a graphic representation summarizing the activity of a specific time frame. As an example, I use 10 minutes, 60 minutes and daily time interval for my systems. Each bar has similar characteristics and tells the viewer several important pieces of information.

First, the highest point of the bar represents the highest price that was achieved during that time period. The lowest point of the bar represents the lowest price during the same period. Regular bars display a small dot on the left side of the bar which represents the opening price of the period and the small dot on the right side represents the closing price of the period.

Candlesticks - Japanese Candlesticks, or simply Candlesticks as they are now known, are used to represent the same information as Price bars. The only difference is that the difference between the open and close form the body of a box which is displayed with a color inside. A red color means that the close was lower than the open, and the blue color represents that the close was higher than the open.

If the box has a line going up from the box it represents the high and is called the wick. If the box has a line going down from the box, it represents the low and is called the tail.

Many interpretations can be made from these "candlesticks" and many books have been written on the art of interpreting these bars.

Chart Intervals & Time Frames:

A chart Time Scale & Period, or time frame, basically refers to the duration of time that passes between the OPEN and the CLOSE of a bar or candlestick.

For instance, with your broker software, you will be able to view a currency pair, in a 1-hour time frame over a 2-day period, 5-day period, 10-day period, 20-day period and 30- day period.

Most of the short-term time intervals (5-min and 1-min charts) are used for entry and exit points and the longer- term time intervals (1-hour and daily charts) are used to see where the general trend is.

A Day in the Life of a Forex Trader

Are you looking into breaking into the field of professional foreign exchange trading? Or are you already a forex trader doing it regularly? Either way, this article may be of interest to you. The forex trader is a different breed of human being. They utilize the markets to earn a living everyday. We have a look into the insight of a day in the life of a forex trader.

Any professional forex trader has the potential to make massive returns from their initial investment or on the nastier side any trader can make massive losses. It is not a game of chance, trading is a skill of emotional control and sound decision making. Traders have an understanding of market mechanics and their behaviour as a response of economic trends.

Traders makes their living from taking advantage of price differences between the buy and sell price of currency pairs and more importantly they make their money by following the market trend. If you yourself have studies forex charts you may notice how the price fluctuates - there are only three directions the price can do: rise, fall or stay the same. Currency prices only stay the same if the currency value is not floated and fixed to a certain value. Traders make their money on the difference on price so the trader can either buy long and hope the currency rises or sell short as the currency drops in price and still makes a profit.

The advanced forex trader waits for a new trade or rather waits for the right time to open a new trade by looking for the right indicators and signs to signal an entry into the foreign exchange market. There are two things that the forex trader can do at home to watch out for an entry signal: look at charts or wait for news. Traders watch for the right trending signals to enter a trade. And the primary rule for the trader is that 'the trend is your friend.' Stick to the trend and you won't get hurt. Secondly, traders also watch the news. They must know what economic data is coming out on which days and what that data means to the future of the economy of the respective countries. If they don't keep track of these facts and economic data and indicators they may find that some currencies are especially volatile during these news announcement events and see the market jump. The forex trader must be ready for these economic announcements to ensure they can anticipate the increased market activity.

Once the forex trader has successfully entered into a trade, a trade that is going well the trader then simply rides the trend to completion, implementing a trailing stop to lock in profits as the price trends the way the trader wanted the trend to go. But if the trade goes sour, the forex traders needs to exit the trade with grace. The trader must cut their losses to succeed in the business of foreign exchange trading.

Hopefully this has given you an overview of what a professional forex trader does to make a living from simply taking advantage over the price difference. The technique is to enter a trade correctly using trend analysis or a news announcement and then follow the rules of "riding the trend" or the "trend is your friend" with "cutting your losses quickly."

Forex Trading Tips

Why do hundreds of thousands online traders and investors trade the forex market every day, and how do they make money doing it?

This two-part report clearly and simply details essential tips on how to avoid typical pitfalls and start making more money in your forex trading.

Trade pairs, not currencies - Like any relationship, you have to know both sides. Success or failure in forex trading depends upon being right about both currencies and how they impact one another, not just one.

Knowledge is Power - When starting out trading forex online, it is essential that you understand the basics of this market if you want to make the most of your investments.

The main forex influencer is global news and events. For example, say an ECB statement is released on European interest rates which typically will cause a flurry of activity. Most newcomers react violently to news like this and close their positions and subsequently miss out on some of the best trading opportunities by waiting until the market calms down. The potential in the forex market is in the volatility, not in its tranquility.

Unambitious trading - Many new traders will place very tight orders in order to take very small profits. This is not a sustainable approach because although you may be profitable in the short run (if you are lucky), you risk losing in the longer term as you have to recover the difference between the bid and the ask price before you can make any profit and this is much more difficult when you make small trades than when you make larger ones.

Over-cautious trading - Like the trader who tries to take small incremental profits all the time, the trader who places tight stop losses with a retail forex broker is doomed. As we stated above, you have to give your position a fair chance to demonstrate its ability to produce. If you don't place reasonable stop losses that allow your trade to do so, you will always end up undercutting yourself and losing a small piece of your deposit with every trade.

Independence - If you are new to forex, you will either decide to trade your own money or to have a broker trade it for you. So far, so good. But your risk of losing increases exponentially if you either of these two things:

Interfere with what your broker is doing on your behalf (as his strategy might require a long gestation period);

Seek advice from too many sources - multiple input will only result in multiple losses. Take a position, ride with it and then analyse the outcome - by yourself, for yourself.

Tiny margins - Margin trading is one of the biggest advantages in trading forex as it allows you to trade amounts far larger than the total of your deposits. However, it can also be dangerous to novice traders as it can appeal to the greed factor that destroys many forex traders. The best guideline is to increase your leverage in line with your experience and success.

No strategy - The aim of making money is not a trading strategy. A strategy is your map for how you plan to make money. Your strategy details the approach you are going to take, which currencies you are going to trade and how you will manage your risk. Without a strategy, you may become one of the 90% of new traders that lose their money.

Trading Off-Peak Hours - Professional FX traders, option traders, and hedge funds posses a huge advantage over small retail traders during off-peak hours (between 2200 CET and 1000 CET) as they can hedge their positions and move them around when there is far small trade volume is going through (meaning their risk is smaller). The best advice for trading during off peak hours is simple - don't.

The only way is up/down - When the market is on its way up, the market is on its way up. When the market is going down, the market is going down. That's it. There are many systems which analyse past trends, but none that can accurately predict the future. But if you acknowledge to yourself that all that is happening at any time is that the market is simply moving, you'll be amazed at how hard it is to blame anyone else.

Trade on the news - Most of the really big market moves occur around news time. Trading volume is high and the moves are significant; this means there is no better time to trade than when news is released. This is when the big players adjust their positions and prices change resulting in a serious currency flow.

Exiting Trades - If you place a trade and it's not working out for you, get out. Don't compound your mistake by staying in and hoping for a reversal. If you're in a winning trade, don't talk yourself out of the position because you're bored or want to relieve stress; stress is a natural part of trading; get used to it.

Don't trade too short-term - If you are aiming to make less than 20 points profit, don't undertake the trade. The spread you are trading on will make the odds against you far too high.

Don't be smart - The most successful traders I know keep their trading simple. They don't analyse all day or research historical trends and track web logs and their results are excellent.

Tops and Bottoms - There are no real "bargains" in trading foreign exchange. Trade in the direction the price is going in and you're results will be almost guaranteed to improve.

Ignoring the technicals- Understanding whether the market is over-extended long or short is a key indicator of price action. Spikes occur in the market when it is moving all one way.

Emotional Trading - Without that all-important strategy, you're trades essentially are thoughts only and thoughts are emotions and a very poor foundation for trading. When most of us are upset and emotional, we don't tend to make the wisest decisions. Don't let your emotions sway you.

Confidence - Confidence comes from successful trading. If you lose money early in your trading career it's very difficult to regain it; the trick is not to go off half-cocked; learn the business before you trade. Remember, knowledge is power.

The second and final part of this report clearly and simply details more essential tips on how to avoid the pitfalls and start making more money in your forex trading.

Take it like a man - If you decide to ride a loss, you are simply displaying stupidity and cowardice. It takes guts to accept your loss and wait for tomorrow to try again. Sticking to a bad position ruins lots of traders - permanently. Try to remember that the market often behaves illogically, so don't get commit to any one trade; it's just a trade. One good trade will not make you a trading success; it's ongoing regular performance over months and years that makes a good trader.

Focus - Fantasising about possible profits and then "spending" them before you have realised them is no good. Focus on your current position(s) and place reasonable stop losses at the time you do the trade. Then sit back and enjoy the ride - you have no real control from now on, the market will do what it wants to do.

Don't trust demos - Demo trading often causes new traders to learn bad habits. These bad habits, which can be very dangerous in the long run, come about because you are playing with virtual money. Once you know how your broker's system works, start trading small amounts and only take the risk you can afford to win or lose.

Stick to the strategy - When you make money on a well thought-out strategic trade, don't go and lose half of it next time on a fancy; stick to your strategy and invest profits on the next trade that matches your long-term goals.

Trade today - Most successful day traders are highly focused on what's happening in the short-term, not what may happen over the next month. If you're trading with 40 to 60-point stops focus on what's happening today as the market will probably move too quickly to consider the long-term future. However, the long-term trends are not unimportant; they will not always help you though if you're trading intraday.

The clues are in the details - The bottom line on your account balance doesn't tell the whole story. Consider individual trade details; analyse your losses and the telling losing streaks. Generally, traders that make money without suffering significant daily losses have the best chance of sustaining positive performance in the long term.

Simulated Results - Be very careful and wary about infamous "black box" systems. These so-called trading signal systems do not often explain exactly how the trade signals they generate are produced. Typically, these systems only show their track record of extraordinary results - historical results. Successfully predicting future trade scenarios is altogether more complex. The high-speed algorithmic capabilities of these systems provide significant retrospective trading systems, not ones which will help you trade effectively in the future.

Get to know one cross at a time - Each currency pair is unique, and has a unique way of moving in the marketplace. The forces which cause the pair to move up and down are individual to each cross, so study them and learn from your experience and apply your learning to one cross at a time.

Risk Reward - If you put a 20 point stop and a 50 point profit your chances of winning are probably about 1-3 against you. In fact, given the spread you're trading on, it's more likely to be 1-4. Play the odds the market gives you.

Trading for Wrong Reasons - Don't trade if you are bored, unsure or reacting on a whim. The reason that you are bored in the first place is probably because there is no trade to make in the first place. If you are unsure, it's probably because you can't see the trade to make, so don't make one.

Zen Trading- Even when you have taken a position in the markets, you should try and think as you would if you hadn't taken one. This level of detachment is essential if you want to retain your clarity of mind and avoid succumbing to emotional impulses and therefore increasing the likelihood of incurring losses. To achieve this, you need to cultivate a calm and relaxed outlook. Trade in brief periods of no more than a few hours at a time and accept that once the trade has been made, it's out of your hands.

Determination - Once you have decided to place a trade, stick to it and let it run its course. This means that if your stop loss is close to being triggered, let it trigger. If you move your stop midway through a trade's life, you are more than likely to suffer worse moves against you. Your determination must be show itself when you acknowledge that you got it wrong, so get out.

Short-term Moving Average Crossovers - This is one of the most dangerous trade scenarios for non professional traders. When the short-term moving average crosses the longer-term moving average it only means that the average price in the short run is equal to the average price in the longer run. This is neither a bullish nor bearish indication, so don't fall into the trap of believing it is one.

Stochastic - Another dangerous scenario. When it first signals an exhausted condition that's when the big spike in the "exhausted" currency cross tends to occur. My advice is to buy on the first sign of an overbought cross and then sell on the first sign of an oversold one. This approach means that you'll be with the trend and have successfully identified a positive move that still has some way to go. So if percentage K and percentage D are both crossing 80, then buy! (This is the same on sell side, where you sell at 20).

One cross is all that counts - EURUSD seems to be trading higher, so you buy GBPUSD because it appears not to have moved yet. This is dangerous. Focus on one cross at a time - if EURUSD looks good to you, then just buy EURUSD.

Wrong Broker - A lot of FOREX brokers are in business only to make money from yours. Read forums, blogs and chats around the net to get an unbiased opinion before you choose your broker.

Too bullish - Trading statistics show that 90% of most traders will fail at some point. Being too bullish about your trading aptitude can be fatal to your long-term success. You can always learn more about trading the markets, even if you are currently successful in your trades. Stay modest, and keep your eyes open for new ideas and bad habits you might be falling in to.

Interpret forex news yourself - Learn to read the source documents of forex news and events - don't rely on the interpretations of news media or others.

Forex Scams: How To Spot Them A Mile Away

In recent years, investors have witnessed increased number of investment opportunities and offerings. While the complexity and success of these investment products vary, technological innovation has made the Forex market one of the fastest growth areas. Many of the leading Forex brokers reported up to 500% rise in the number of new retail customers. However, the growth of the Forex market has been accompanied by a sharp rise in foreign currency trading scams.

Many of these Forex scams are promoted on the radio, television, newspapers and the Internet. Investors who fall victim to these schemes, often lose all of their money. As an illustration, let?s examine the facts of a recent case involving Forex fraud and its consequences. W learned of a foreign currency trading opportunity through an infomercial on the radio. K, the owner of a Forex asset management firm, spoke during the infomercial, promising viewers significant profits with minimum risk. After seeing the infomercial, W contacted K, and later attended a seminar presented by K and his firm. The seminar was so convincing that W wrote a check to K for $100,000.

Several months later, W received statements (which were false) from K?s firm reflecting significant returns on his initial $100,000 investment. Thereafter, W attended another seminar and decided to invest more money. W took a loan and invested another $800,000 in K?s Forex trading operation. Short while after W?s second investment, the Securities and Exchange Commission filed a complaint against K and his firm for engaging in a scheme to defraud investors. K?s firm?s assets were frozen, including the $900,000 invested by W. A receiver was appointed to distribute the remaining assets of K?s firm to defrauded investors. The assets were distributed on pro-rata basis with no legal preference given to any of the victims. Since K?s firm?s assets were not enough to satisfy all of the defrauded investor?s claims, W received only about $22,000 of the $900,000 he invested.

Since a whole book can be written on the various tactics and methods used by Forex scam artists, in this article, I will focus on the major warning signs that one needs to identify to avoid falling victim to Forex swindlers.

1. Promises of Little or No Risk

If you encounter a Forex firm that claims to have developed a foreign currency trading strategy that carries very little or no risk, stay away. The reason Forex trading can be very profitable is because it also carries a very high risk of loss. The Forex market is very volatile, and, without good money management, an investor can lose most if not all her capital within few days. Thus, individuals and firms who make claims that are far from market realities, as is riskless Forex trading, are really after your money.

2. Guarantees of Large Profits

Beware of firms that guarantee large profits in Forex trading. These so called ?guarantees? are mere ploys to entice investors and make them believe that their money is safe and that they will definitely make large profits. Such claims are simply untrue, because even the best professional traders cannot guarantee that they will make a profit any given day. The Forex market, as most financial markets, is very unpredictable. Hence, be suspicious of such claims and those who make them.

3. Employment Ads For Forex Traders

Many Forex trading firms use employment ads to attract individuals with capital to trade using their systems. The employment ads, which often appear in newspapers and on the Internet, state that a foreign currency trading firm is looking for individuals to teach them how to trade the foreign currency market using firm capital. Those who reply to the ad are convinced by the firm that they will make a fortune trading currencies if they participate in the firm?s training program. During the training process, which often occurs on a demo system, the novice traders are encouraged and told that their demo trading records show that have made significant profits, that they are ready to make real money and would very successful. Despite the firm?s assessment of the novice trader as a brilliant newcomer, no firm capital is provided to the trader, instead the excited novice is told to use her own capital to trade using the firm?s platform. In addition to various fees imposed on traders using the firm?s platform, the Forex firm makes money as an introducing broker. Each time the novice trader trades through the firm?s system, a good part of the spread charged by the broker is shared and goes into the firm?s coffers. After few months, the novice trader loses all of her capital and leaves. The Forex firm, having made money during the novice trader?s short stint, moves on to new traders eager to become rich trading foreign currencies.

4. Is the Forex Firm a CFTC or NFA Member?

Before you sign a check and give your capital to a Forex company, make sure you investigate the entity. Check to see whether the Forex firm, with which you want to do business, is registered with the United States Commodity Futures Trading Commission or the National Futures Association. Many scam artists falsely claim that their firms are registered with the CFTC or the NFA to gain a perspective investor?s trust. Do not trust anyone, research the firm and the background of the individuals involved before parting with your hard earned money.

The Internet has paved the way for many new opportunities for retail investors. The Forex market is both exciting and fast paced. Investor?s who are careful and diligent are likely to avoid the perils of this market, and will profit from the growth and opportunities of foreign currency trading.

Forex Trading: Introduction to Foreign Exchange Trading

The foreign exchange markets are always in a constant state of flux, and for the budding trader, it can be a rather daunting place to invest and trade your money. We bring you into the world of foreign exchange trading. As you look into the prospect of forex trading you will begin to understand the width and breadth of the forex market. It is a worldwide market trading currencies 24 hours a day 7 days a week (Well actually, markets are actually open for about 5.5days a week actively trading). As a consequence of this huge market, the market is highly liquid and high volume takes place daily. As the market in constant flux there are plenty of opportunities for forex trading.

Forex trading takes advantage of the constant flux of the market, buying and selling into and out of the ebbs and flows of the foreign exchange trading charts. Many profitable trades await the trader in these markets. So as you examine your charts as a forex trader you will find that the market display's repetitive behaviour as well as trends. Trends can go in three ways; an up trend, down trend and a sideways trend. As a trader you take advantage of price differences so you ought to stay away from sideways trending forex markets while jumping at every chance at up trending (long) markets or down trending (short) markets.

The important catchphrase in forex trading or any other trading for that matter is that "the trend is your friend." An uptrend is simply defined as a set of prices on a chart that display a pattern of higher highs and higher lows: or put simply a graph going up from left to right. A downtrend is the opposite to an uptrend with a pattern of lower lows and lower highs: or simply put a graph going down from left to right. Then you have your sideways charts which really doesn't display any clear uptrend or downtrend and shows up as either an erratic pattern of highs and lows or a pattern where the price doesn't really change much between the highs and lows.

Foreign exchange trading takes advantage of trends and the price differences at which the traders buy and sell the foreign currencies. It is a highly valuable skill to master the ability to read charts and to be able to see the uptrends and downtrends as well as the sideways trends in any chart or market you examine. Remember, the trend is your friend, ride the trend and you shall have your profits. As profits are the main objective of any forex trading venture.

Forex Enterprise - A Full Review

A new marketing course to hit the internet by Nick Marks that advertises earnings of $1000 a day and $30,000 a month respectively. This turnkey system generating multiple streams of income is relatively new and so it is my pleasure to review it for you.

After purchasing you are given a login page where you are introduced to the system which is in website format. Everything is easy to access and well organized.

After Nick gives you a little pep talk about positive thinking and goal setting, you will be introduced to his first recommendation: join Coastal Vacations. While not a part of his main Forex system this is a recommendation I could've done without.

In the pay per click section you are given a large list of keywords that Nick found convert really well with his system. Some of the keywords in the list have bid prices already attached to them so you can get front page exposure.

The course also has $50 in free adwords credit that unfortunately only works with new accounts so I was out of luck. If you don't already have an account this is worth the price of the course alone.

The forex course shows you some inexpensive traffic methods and provides links to these sources. He also covers stuff like pop-over ads, e-mail lists and autoresponders. Not bad information by any means, and is an alternative to pay per click advertising if you have a smaller budget.

He has an ebook package that seemed like it was going to be really cool as there were dozens of bonus ebooks and software programs covering everything from creating ebooks and website templates, to getting top positions in the major search engines.

As I took a closer look at this package I realized there were some bargain bin informational products included. However, there were also alot of goodies in there as well that I found rather useful. You get so many ebooks and software in here that it really is worth far more than the price of the course.

There is a section on becoming an Ebay power seller in 90 days that goes into a fair amount of detail and wasn't bad. However, Ebay isn't something I have ever been particularly interested in doing. There is also a section on baccarat strategies that I had no interest in.

One of the last sections of his course introduces you to e-currency exchanging using the DXINONE system. It is a great way to acquaint yourself with this increasingly popular opportunity without having to buy standalone e-currency courses which can cost a couple hundred dollars.

The author has combined several effective ways to earn money online and rolled them all into one course. While I didn't jump up and down about all of his strategies, the free ebooks, software, and adwords credit make Forex Enterprise worth the money.

Joey Merrick is the webmaster of http://www.internet-marketing-reviews.net where you will find comprehensive reviews on several of todays hottest income opportunities and money making ebooks.
